Help Me Grow Giveaway – Friday, June 18th 9:00 am - noon – Metzenbaum School, 8200 Cedar Road, Chesterland. Doors open at 9:00 am for Help Me Grow families and they are open to the public from 10:00 am to noon. EVERYTHING IS FREE. Donations will be accepted starting June 1st contact your service coordinator to arrange to make a donation.
Single Parent Dinner – Wednesday, June 23rd at 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. at Bessie Metzenbaum Park. Dinner, childcare & discussion. Enjoy this chance to get to know other single parents in our community. For more information or to RSVP contact 729-5250 x 1533 by June 21st.
Cleveland Zoo Field Trip – Thursday,June 24th pick-up tickets from 9:45 to 10:00 a.m. at the zoo outside the main gate - 3900 Wildlife Way, Cleveland. Enjoy the end of the school year outing with your family & Help Me Grow to the 7th oldest zoo in the United States. Enjoy some of the 3000 animals at the Zoo. Bring a packed lunch to eat for you & your family or purchase lunch there. Please call 729-5250x1530 by June 18th. The Cleveland Metroparks Zoo is offering this Field Trip FREE to Geauga Help Me Grow families. SPACE IS LIMITED
HMG Early Childhood Subcommittee – Thursday, July 1st at 10:00 a.m. at 12480 Ravenwood Drive, Chardon (JFS building). This is an opportunity to share your insight and knowledge with other community members interested in supporting the success of Geauga County Help Me Grow. Child care and parent stipends are available.
